Ava

The girls are in a foster home where they are a delight to their foster mom. They are housebroken, know several commands and are very quiet - these gals aren't too interested in actively guarding the house but they will slumber at your feet on a regular basis. They get along with other dogs, kids and all sorts of people. Ruby (the black & tan) and Ava (the sable) were rescued from a high kill shelter on their last day. We understand that their owner lost their home and could no longer keep them. We think that they are about 4 years old. Ruby is the leader in their pack - she has the "street smarts" and takes care of Ava. Ruby is a clown, she likes to show off for her foster mom and create little scenes of mischief. Ava is a quieter version, seeking affection from people and very content to lay quietly wherever her human may be.
