The five "D" pups were part of a larger litter that was brought into the shelter in a trash can. Our SD Chapter kept the "D" pups and our OC Chapter has the other five ("E" pups). These little guys are ready for a home in the next few days.

Keeni & Kylan are new to Coastal. They were turned in by their owner who is ill. These poor souls have lived their entire lives in a dirt yard with just a makeshift shelter to protect them from the weather. We will find them homes this time where they will be loved and considered prized members of the family!

Poor Leera had a severe injury to her leg when she was rescued by Coastal. She is on the mend and looking for a home that is safe and filled with the love she deserves!

Almost four weeks ago, Lourdes and her nine babies had one day to live. They were all scheduled to be euthanized in a high kill shelter. Giving these precious little ones and their mother a chance at life is what Coastal is all about. On October 31st, they will be ready to go to their own cozy home, with their forever family.

Lourdes' pups are with the SD Chapter in San Diego County.

Oksana is a pretty sable girl who is around two years old. She was just rescued from a high kill shelter. She was found as a stray with a portion of her back shaved and a chewed up e-collar around her neck. Sadly no one ever came to find her. Abandoned by his family who no longer wanted him, Ruger, a handsome two year old boy, is ready for a new home. Great with other dogs from a little Chihuahua to a big Great Dane, Ruger loves to play and knows some basic commands. He's ready to croon his love song to you because he knows you'll love him forever.
