Are you ready for this story?
Maggie is about 10 months old. The last 6 months of her life Maggie spent hours on end scowering the local neighborhood in search of her next meal, she began this saga when she was barely 4 months old and still had her baby teeth!
When Maggie was picked up by Animal Control, she was completely emaciated and weighed a mere 40 lbs. Little Maggie was only able to eat what she could find and now her shoulders are bothering her a little bit because of lack of nutrition.
The part that is just absolutely heart breaking is while this puppy was running around the neighborhood begging for food and shelter, she was chased away again and again by the neighborhood people who just did not care.
Maggie is safe for the time being, she is being treated at an Animal Hospital. There are no serious signs of illnesses and she is recovering nicely. Maggie has gained 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks. She has learned that by tapping her feed bowl on her crate, food suddenly appears! Maggie has perfected this trick quite well.
Little Maggie for once is happy that she has a roof over her head, water to drink, food that miraculously appears in front of her, lots of toys that is so new to her, and most importantly people that show her love instead of being chased off and yelled at.
Maggie is a doll as described to us by the staff at the Animal Hospital. She is sweet, affectionate and very friendly.
Will you be the family that would give her a second chance at life?
