| Clarisse
|
Located in Orange County! Sweet Clarisse had the luck of the draw on the very last day along with her five six-week old puppies! They are all safe and sound in a foster home and we still can not imagine why they were on the euthanasia list! Probably not quite a year old, Clarisse is a very petite young gal at about 40 pounds. She had done an outstanding job as a mother but would now love to find a loving home of her own.Updated 7/25/11

Located in Orange County! Jack was adopted as a youngster about two years ago but his family has fallen on hard times and will need to move where he cannot come along. As with all our dogs, Jack has a forever safety net with us and we will be working hard to find him a new home. Jack is housebroken, very smart, can be left alone unsupervised in the house and yard. He's about 3 years old. Jack is fine with similarly sized dogs who are easy going - he is not fond of small dogs or cats.Updated 4/04/12

| Nana |
Located in Orange County! Unceremoniously dumped in a cul de sac, Nana came to us with mammary tumors and severe depression. After surgeries to fix the tumors (all negative to cancer by the way!!!), Nana is sporting a new girlish figure. This is one smart cookie, she loves her life in her foster home, has learned to open frig doors (not so good, but it does prove how smart she is!) and doesn't really bark, rather sings a howl song to her foster mom at every meal. This is one amazing dog. We don't know how old she is but we are guessing somewhere between 4 and 5 years old.Updated 6/27/11

| Thatch
|
Located in Orange County! Ok, ok, we know he's not a german shepherd but his story pulled us to him. Taken from the shelter by a rescue group, they returned him when they found him limping. He had no lifeline, nothing even after a "rescue" rescued him. Seeing his picture, we couldn't allow this adorable boy to be put down. We aren't experts on terriers but he could either be a labradoodle or a wheatable (wheaton terrier mix) - we've asked some of our rescue contacts for help with id'ing. No matter what he is, he's an adorable mop top who is learning what its like to live with a bunch of dogs.Updated 3/12/12
