Unfortunately our spirited, show stopper has been singing the blues lately because he has been stuck in the kennel. As soon as our volunteers show up to take Astro for a walk, a big smile graces his face. Given his youth, Astro is pretty active and will appreciate regular opportunities to practice his moves. However, we don’t think that you will mind one bit as Astro keeps perfect time to the beat when he walks on the leash.

Astro really shines when he gets in front of an audience. He isn’t particular about the members of his fan club. Astro welcomes applause from both dogs and people. However, Astro is especially appreciative of attention from people. He loves to stick close by you to soak up all of your accolades. Thus, it is a shame that Astro is whistling Dixie solo as he would much prefer to be part of your merry band. Won’t you come down this weekend and give him a chance to audition for a permanent gig in your home?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
