Bailey
She spent a week in the infirmary receiving treatment and pain medication. All the while, her angel kept returning to the shelter to check on her wellbeing. She wanted to ensure that she was taken care of and found a good home when she was better.
The day before she was picked up, we were told that she was up and about, very playful and ready to be rescued. She is now safe with the rescue and waiting for a new home where she will be loved and kept safe.
Bailey loves other dogs. She shares her kennel with a very playful and energetic 10 month old German Shepherd. They love to go on walks together, and she is the first to let her roommate know when she's misbehaving, with a quick motherly nudge.
Bailey has the most beautiful gait of any German Shepherd. She prances as though she's a show horse adorned with jewels in a show ring and knows everyone is watching.
Bailey is still recuperating from her accident so she only goes on short walks. But with time and love, she is expected to make a full recovery and will make someone a very loving and loyal companion.
