Barrett

Barrett was rescued just in the nick of time. We were just made aware of a county "over-flow" facility where the animals are euthanized after 4 days regardless of their adoptability. This warehouse serves as an overflow for the county facility when it is full. Unfortunately, no one knows about this facility and rarely are animals adopted from here. It is very sad that this continues to go on. Barrett was brought to our attention by a small group of rescuers who are trying to rescue and place as many animals as possible from this holding facility. The group wasn't sure if Barrett was a German Shepherd as they had never seen the sable coloring. When we saw pictures of Barrett, we knew we had to save him. He is all of two years old and sweet as pie. His scar across his face tells a tale of abuse or injury--which one we are not sure. He is happy go lucky with all that he meets!

This boy deserves a wonderful home. If you think you can give him this, please contact Tiffany via email at tiffanycgsr@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
