Baxter

Baxter loves attention from people. He has such a silky, soft coat that few could resist doting on him at a recent adoption event. He displayed his gratitude by rolling over to beg for more affection in the form of hearty belly-rubs. Baxter is thoroughly delighted to bee bop along next you on the leash. He must have the soundtrack of a bouncy, little tune going in his head because every now and then he gets out of step. A quick correction is all he needs to get right back in sync so you can both continue along your merry way.

In addition to a fondness for people, Baxter displayed a particular interest in one of our lady GSD’s this past weekend. It was love at first scent as soon as Baxter encountered Lacy. You could just about see his heart beating out of chest like a cartoon character when they locked eyes on each other. After the compulsory doggie introductions were completed, Baxter turned on his gentleman-like charm. He went from dog to prince just like the fairy tale as he tendered gentle kisses on Lacy’s blushing cheek.

We can’t think of one thing not to love about Baxter. Once you meet him, we are 200% certain that you won’t be able to either.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
