She sat with the volunteer on a busy street corner during a walk and just enjoyed taking it all in. She enjoyed the fresh air and had her head up sniffing and checking things out. She was unsure of the leash on her initial walk and did not know what to do when given a correction. After receiving praise for sitting, she thought the whole leash/walk/training thing was pretty cool. She got into the swing of things and would sit and look up at our volunteer waiting for words of praise. She is in tuned to her surroundings. She will make a great companion for someone who will take the time to earn her trust and will be your friend for life.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
