Bentley is an energetic young man! Bentley runs laps around the backyard of his foster home. He is fearless and teases his foster sister by stealing her toys. He then makes them squeak and runs so she'll chase him. Clever puppy! He and his foster sister wrestle and play for hours at a time. Bentley enjoys playing catch, although he hasn't quite figured out that he has to bring the ball back in order for it to be thrown again.

Bentley has quickly learned that one of his cat buddies has claws and needs to be left alone, while the other sits patiently while being sniffed. Bentley gets bored with the sniffing, and he's off to the next new and exciting thing.

Bentley enjoys his toys and time with his people and animal foster family. He is working on his potty training and hasn't made any mistakes recently. Bentley is learning to sleep in a crate and he is picking up a few basic commands. As with any puppy, continued obedience training will work wonders! Bentley would do well with an active family that can give him an outlet for his puppy energy. He is learning to walk properly on a leash and with practice he will have this down in no time. He is very smart pup!

A puppy is a big commitment, one you need to be prepared to make for 12 to 15 years. Don't think about adopting a puppy unless you are willing to go through chewed up shoes, dug up plants and obedience and training, and making sure you'll always have a place for your canine family member.
