Calypso
Calypso is a very active and energetic youngster. She needs a secure yard and her ideal family will have another dog to play with her. She currently has a foster sister, Lola, who wrestles and tussles with her all day long. Training is a must for this gal and with her enthusiasm and athletic build she would probably excel at agility. While she hasn't been exposed to cats, due to her energy level and prey drive, living in a home with cats would probably present a big challenge for her.
Like most of the youngsters we see, it appears Calypso has not had a lot of previous training. She will definitely benefit from obedience training to bring out her full potential. Training is a great way to not only have an obedient dog, but creates a strong bond between a dog and handler. Calypso is very friendly and is looking for a family to show her the ropes. She is still very much a puppy and will need a lot of direction to learn the correct behavior and what is expected of her. She is a diamond in the rough and with a little polish will shine.
Calypso has a lot of potential and with some loving guidance will grow up into a wonderful family companion.
