Cashmere
She is in the "learning about everything phase", as I don't think she has been exposed to much in her short little life. Cashmere follows my Shepherd around everywhere, but is content to play on her own as well. She loves toys and does really well at bringing them back when you throw them, over and over again! She also enjoys checking herself out in the mirror, and occasionally has a comment or two about how she looks!
She would like to make friends with my cat Spot, however, Spot is not buying what Cashmere is selling. So Cashmere, goes elsewhere, but I'm sure will try again later. So, when Cashmere is not following my Shepherd around, playing with toys or doing Spot checks, you can usually find her chilling out on one of the 3 dog beds around the house.
She rides well in the car, sleeps through the night in her crate on her first "cushy" bed, and has had no accidents in the house. So she has all that down pretty good, and has even learned a few commands. She is still trying to figure out the whole leash routine, but is better at it than two days ago.
Cashmere is a sweetheart with a lot of spunk!
Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way! If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out our online application. An adoption counselor will contact you. Due to the overwhelming response we get to puppies, we will not be able to provide information until we have an application on file.
The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Donate today using PayPal! Help us save dogs!
