Charles

Plain and simple, Sir Charles is one happy boy!

After a recent adoption event, Charles, several other Coastal dogs and numerous volunteers went over to a volunteers' house for an afternoon BBQ. Once Charles saw the pool and the spa, he headed straight to them with no reservations! We didn't know our Sir Charles was training for the Summer Olympics!

Charles gets along with everyone – adults, kids, other dogs (male and female, small and large) and even cats! He is truly an awesome dog that would make a great addition to a family with an active lifestyle! Of course, he'd love a home with a pool too!

Update from Charles' Foster Family, July 2008:
Charles is in a foster home with 2 human parents, 2 cats and 2 large GSD's and he loves them all! He is doing great in the only the first week at his foster home! Charles is about 2 years old and is all about playing and having fun! When he's not doing laps in the pool with his foster GSD brothers, he is either playing with the squeaky toys or giving continuous slobbery kisses to his foster parents! Charles did very well with his foster kitty brothers too! He has little to no interest in them. He was nose to nose with one of the cats and then he heard the squeaky toy, picked it up and headed straight for the pool! When one of the cats hissed at him, he stood there for a minute and then walked away.

After Charles does his "business" at any time of the day, it's "pool time." Charles has perfect house manners and he is crate trained and sleeps through the night!

We are asking a $500.00 adoption donation for Charles - the proceeds will help towards Wyatt's medical bills.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
