Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

When our volunteers first saw Chynna at the shelter they were afraid that she wouldn't be adoptable. She was so scared that she cowered away from anyone approaching her kennel. The next time they went to see her she was a changed dog-thanks to the dedicated shelter worker who showed her some kindness and helped her to learn that people are good. While she is a bit nervous in new situations she has really come out of her shell, so we decided to bring her into the rescue and find her a home where she will continue to blossom into a playful, loving dog.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
