Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Meet Cody. He is approximately 5 years old . . . Cody was found as a stray in Escondido. When you meet him, the first thought that will come to mind is how gentle this dog is. Cody is about 100 pounds, not over weight at all, he is one of the sweetest and most tender dog you’ll ever meet and he loves being around with other dogs.

We don’t know much of Cody’s past, what we do know is that he is a bit gun shy with people, he acts as though he has been hurt in the past. At his first adoption event, all he wanted to do is stay in his crate, after about an hour of this, we think he realized that all the dogs around him were being treated with a lot of TLC, something he wanted to get a piece of. Shortly after, Cody decided not to run in his crate and to just hang out on a bed outside, and sure enough he did get what he wanted a piece of . . . a TON of love from the volunteers.
