Cole

Meet Cole. He and a beagle companion were taken to an animal shelter in the desert to be turned in. When the owners were informed that they would have to pay $30 to turn in the dogs, they refused and walked out. About half an hour later, a call was made to Animal Control about a stray german shepherd and beagle running loose on the streets. Can you imagine being dumped like that by someone who was supposed to care about you? Obviously, Cole deserves a much better life and Coastal is here to make sure he gets it.

Cole is a solid black and young boy. He is great with other dogs and loves people. Like many young males, however, Cole does need to learn basic commands and manners. He will be a great addition to any family.

Update from Cole's foster Mom,
Cole has an amazing temperament!!! Sweet, but not smothering, he just wants to lie next to you wherever you are. I have been clicker training him, he responds VERY well to this He is Mr. Sunshine, and any dog who can handle dogs like mine the way he has done, should be treated like a prince. Cole has great potential for obedience trials, or as a therapy dog…he could pas the Canine Good Citizen certification in no time.
