Like quite a few pups, Cyra is still very mouthy and play time involves lots of mouthing. Also, she will jump up on people when she gets excited, but given that we know she learns quickly, I expect with proper training that the jumping can be easily cured.
She has shown us that she is quite possessive of her toys and will growl at another dog if she thinks her ball is in jeopardy of changing hands. She is also possessive of her human attention givers – she wants to be the center of attention – this trait is generally fixable once she is in a family situation and the new (human) leader establishes his/her place as the pack leader.
Overall we think that Cyra has the makings to be an absolutely AMAZING dog, but the jumping and mouthing means she may not be the best fit for a family with smaller children at this time.
