At this stage it's a little hard to assume their current behavior is accurate - they are just so happy to be back with people that they are both quite hyper right now. This may settle as they realize they won't be abandoned again.
It's probably safe to say that any owner who would abandon these beautiful dogs probably didn't do much in the way of training or socializing them. As is the case with all young German Shepherds, they will benefit from plenty of exercise, discipline, and affection (in that order!).
If you have what it takes to turn this great young dog into the wonderful adult she is destined to be, please contact Tracey at tmac@san.rr.com. Don't forget to fill out our online application.
The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Donate today using PayPal! Help us save dogs!
