Devlyn
She is doing fine in her foster home where she has been fortunate to live for the past several weeks. If anyone is ready, willing, and able to give her attention, Devlyn will be eternally grateful! While she will play incessantly with any willing dog, she will give up playing if someone is ready to pet her and to give her attention. After all, there are many of us who would give up talking with another person if we had the sudden opportunity to pet a dog. While she likes to play, her mouth if soft, if somewhat slobbery!
In her foster home, she responds immediately to a "no" command if she starts to chew on something, eagerly turning to a replacement and acceptable chew toy. Devlyn still needs to learn that jumping on people with love and enthusiasm isn't appropriate canine behavior. Devlyn might respond and say that she doesn't jump on her foster mom because she had been taught that isn't the right thing to do but what about all those other people who seem to indicate that jumping is okay??? After further discussion, Devlyn is ready and willing to learn that jumping isn't acceptable - at any time!
Won't you be the family who gives Devlyn the love and attention that she deserves?
