Jupiter has been adopted! 01-12-2015

Male German Shepherd Dog about 3-5 years old. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

There isn't a person on this earth who has met Jupiter and not immediately fallen in love. His smile will warm your heart and his happy-go-lucky attitude will put you in a great mood the second your paths cross. He loves his walks and will even skip, every so often, out of pure joy. A total cuddle bug, Jupiter enjoys everyone he meets and sees them as an opportunity for belly rubs or a reason to dish out kisses. Jupiter is a real gem and is searching for a family that will love life as much as he does!

Jupiter has been introduced to cats both on his walks and overnight inside of an apartment. He did not display aggression towards the cats and seemed more curious about them than anything. He might fit well into family that has cats depending on how the cats' behave and how the initial introductions are handled. Although Jupiter adores people of all sizes, we think he would do best with older children, as he doesn't appreciate being prodded or pushed into positions.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
