Daisy

Dora is suspected to be the victim of backyard breeding. We think Dora fled during a recent fire storm and delivered her babies on her own. She was picked up by animal control and taken in as a stray. When no one came to claim her, her days at the shelter became numbered. The public shelter system does not have the resources to care for families. Thanks to caring foster homes, we are able to give these young families a healthy and happy start for a bright future. Dora is a beautiful purebred Shepherd. We don't know who dad was, but these pups sure are cute!

Dalilah, Dixie, Diamond, Darla, Daisy, and Domino are weaned now. They will be available for adoption after Memorial day and we are accepting applications for them now.

Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way!

If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out our online application. An adoption counselor will contact you. Due to the overwhelming response we get to puppies, we will not be able to provide information until we have an application on file.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
