Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Ella is an itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny, black and tan shepherd sweetie. She may not fit into a designer shoulder bag like Paris Hilton’s posh pups, but you will still want to take her everywhere you go on a leash because Ella is an absolute joy to walk. It doesn’t take more than a correction of two for her to understand that your job is setting the pace and that hers is following along in unison. Ella adapts easily to any situation and seems to make acquaintances with any and all children, adults, and dogs that she meets on the street.

At only two - three years old, Ella already exhibits a wonderful, easy-going temperament. Ella’s kennel-mate is super playful, and Ella seems completely at ease with Serena’s lively behavior. When Serena interrupted an affection session between Ella and a volunteer, Ella merely expressed her dissatisfaction with a little yelp. In fact, Ella seems to thrive in the company of other dogs. Thus, Ella would be thrilled to move into your home and become your existing dogs’ perfect playmate.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
