Gigi

Gigi is a mere baby herself but has already been a mom. She was found with one lone puppy in an abandoned lot. We successfully networked her little brown and white pup to a mixed breed rescue to place and now it is Gigi's turn!

Gigi is no more than 18 mos old - she is petite, about 50 lbs - there is a smidge of something else sprinkled over Gigi's DNA, maybe black lab? She gets along fantastically with other dogs and loves nothing more than to curl up in a big comfy chair and take a snooze. She has a neat, short coat and a back foot that is sprinkled with snow!

Updated 7/2/08:
Gigi's foster mom reports that Gigi has the best personality. She is very affectionate and likes to put her head in your lap. She LOVES to play, but is also respectful of the older dogs in the home when they say "No more, please". Gigi would really like another canine companion and kids to play with. We suspect she may be good with cats.

Gigi sleeps through the night on a dog bed and is completely potty-trained. Gigi's foster family usually doesn't take in dog's her age (they specialize in older dogs), but Gigi's sweet disposition tugged at everyone's heartstrings and they have been amazed at how she has managed to worm her way into their hearts.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
