Gracie

Gracie is a 3 year old, female, German Short Hair/hound mix. Gracie lost her home when her previous owners allowed her to run loose (her yard was not fenced) and get into trouble pestering a neighbor’s goats. She was picked up by animal control and her uncaring owners decided to leave her there to be euthanized. We are completely perplexed when a dog as near perfect as Gracie is left by an owner to die in the shelter. Luckily for Gracie, another very loving and concerned neighbor called us and told us about Gracie’s need to find a new loving forever home.

Gracie is as sweet as they come, very well behaved, great on a leash, good with other dogs and has lived with cats in the past. She is an angel with people, adores children, and loves attention. Gracie is smart as a whip and could learn to do about anything with a family willing to spend time to train her. Gracie is a nice size, not too big and not too small, and has a lovely short, neat, easy maintenance coat. She has a calm and easy going nature. Gracie needs a secure yard and probably would do best without a goat as a roommate!

Gracie is eager to please and will make some lucky family a wonderful lifelong companion! Come meet Gracie, the quintessential loving and devoted family dog!

If you are interested in meeting Gracie, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
