Haike

Haike has a lopsided look due to an injury to her ear she must have received when very young. The ear does not stand and the ear canal has been sealed. It may be possible to open this up again in the future. We had planned to do this when she was spayed, but Haike had other plans. She came into the rescue pregnant with a large litter and ended up needing a c-section to deliver all the pups, so they did the spay after getting all the babies out.

She is adjusting well to being a mom and taking good care of her pups. Even though she is just a large puppy herself, she has had to grow up fast. She will have a full time job caring for the pups for the next few weeks, but then will be ready to join a new family. She is such a sweet girl, we hope hope to find the perfect family for her then.

Haike is looking for a family who will love and take care of her. She is housebroken, very well mannered in the house, and likes other dogs. She is also calm and relaxed outside. She doesn't dig or chew and is content to just lay down and watch the world go by! She is also playful and eager to learn. She will do her best to please you. Haike is a calm, steady gal who will make an excellent addition to any family.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
