Hank

Hank, after a few months in boarding, has been thriving in a lively foster home where there are lots of confident dogs. He easily fit into the mix within minutes - he is a confident easy going boy. We think Hank is about 3 years old - when we first brought him in from the shelter, he was very ill with a nasty cold. He has bounced back wonderfully and is patiently waiting for his home. Hank is about 95% housebroken - when he gets to a home without so many dogs, we are confident (based on numerous experiences as well) that he will be 110% housebroken with some good attention and direction. He can be left inside all day without constraint, i.e., a crate with confidence.

Hank is somewhat independent and while he likes attention from his people, he can also hang by himself and not follow his human everywhere which is a great sign for an abandoned dog. Hank has yet to bark much or create trouble! Please don't overlook this beautiful boy.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
