Hawk is a throwback to a bygone era where class and sophistication were the hallmarks of good taste. He sports the elegant GSD features with an athletic, rugged edge that disguise the most chivalrous gentleman. Hawk’s calm presence and demeanor attract quite a lot of attention from people, however; he isn’t the least bit interested in being in the spotlight. At a recent adoption event, Hawk was perfectly content to occupy a spot toward the back of our booth and simply observe everything going on around him.

Despite his trademark reserve, Hawk met a ton of new people at the event. The most memorable introduction was that of a timid little girl who wanted to pet Hawk but was somewhat afraid to get close to him. Consequently, she snuck up behind him and hesitantly laid her hand his backside. Hawk wasn’t the least bit bothered by her unconventional approach. He merely turned to acknowledge her and expressed his gratitude with the nod of his head. When Hawk is greeted face to face, he makes the acquaintance by extending one of his paws for a proper shake.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
