Heidi

Not only does Heidi gravitate to people, but she also loves other dogs. While in the kennel, she worked her charms on “Marcus,” another one of Coastal GS Rescue’s orphans. Together, their behavior is reminiscent of Disney’s “Lady and the Tramp.” After drinking from the same water bowl simultaneously, Heidi was caught licking the water droplets off of Marcus’s chin! She seems to be a bit timid and gets nervous, if separated from Marcus for to long. Thus, she would probably do well with any other dog to keep her company. Ideally, the “other” dog would be Marcus, of course!

If you have room in your heart (and your home), Heidi and Marcus would make the perfect pair of life-long companions.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
