Hinako

Hinako was turned into Coastal by her owner for excessive shyness. Silly, maybe…sharp-witted, definitely…sweet, absolutely, but shy just doesn’t seem describe the cutie that we inherited.

Hinako burst onto the adoption scene with a personality bigger than life. She leaped up on top of the crate beside her handler as if to shout from a mountain top, “Pick me!” A pretty smart move for a petite sweetie that might otherwise be missed in a sea of GSDs, don’t you think? Have no worries, Hinako is quick to learn her place in your pack. It doesn’t take more than one or two corrections before she falls right into step beside you. Just in case you have any doubts about her intelligence, she shows her smarts by focusing those baby brown eyes on you awaiting your next command.

Hinako is particularly attracted to kiddos. This past weekend, Hinako found a new best buddy in one of our teenaged volunteers. Hinako willingly exchanged her crate-like pedestal for a place on the young lady’s lap where she was able to lavish her new girl-friend with copious, doggie kisses. Ear-to-ear grins on both girls proved that a good time was had by all.

Hinako has everything that you could possibly want in a dog…brains, beauty, and a sense of humor. The only thing that she needs now is YOU to take her home and love her for life.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
