Hooper

"Getting to know you, getting to know all about you. Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me." These lyrics to the song by Oscar Hammerstein could easily be sung by many of Rescue's foster parents who welcome our wonderful dogs into their homes and into their lives. Hooper, a three year old black and tan coated male, is fortunate to have found a foster home just after he arrived at Rescue from a high kill shelter. He is very grateful that he is no longer homeless!

Here's what his foster mom has to say about him. First and foremost, she writes, "Hooper is the sweetest dog on the planet." Okay, we could stop there but here's more information. He wants nothing more than to be petted and loved. In return, he gives complete devotion. He loves to keep an eye on his foster mom and will follow her around the house. He is great with other dogs, good with cats, and wonderful with children of all ages, even toddlers! He is very eager to please and is ready to give a lifetime of love to some lucky family. Won't you invite Hooper into your home so you can get to know him as well?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
