Ingrid

We don’t know Ingrid’s unfortunate history, but at some point she became canine non grata. Perhaps the family that loved her as cuddly puppy lost interest as she matured, or maybe she was dumped to make room for a new dog or kitty? Regardless, the outcome of ditching a once cherished pet at the nearest shelter is always the same…a crushed spirit and wounded soul.

Given Ingrid’s special affection for people and eagerness to please, falling out of favor at her once loved home had to be the most devastating thing that could have happened to her. However, you can see the sadness start to melt away when you give Ingrid the opportunity to walk. She perfectly demonstrates the regal, elegance of her breed as she prances along gracefully without any tugging or pulling…unless a mangy mutt invades her personal space. Ingrid is a bit of a princess, and she doesn’t want to share your attention with another dog. Consequently, she needs to be adopted into a castle that she can call her own.

Ingrid is no dumb blonde. Her heightened sensitivity allows her to appreciate the innocence and non-judgmental nature of children. She absolutely loves them and would jump at the chance to become your kids’ favorite auntie. Ingrid is so patient and gentle that kids are instinctively drawn to her. Even at 6 years old she has the agility to keep up with them at play. Her favorite game is to smother the kiddos with kisses until they are bursting with laughter and smiles.

For the bargain price of belly rubs you can have a playmate and a babysitter all rolled into one strikingly beautiful, obedient dog.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
