JackieJackie suffered a severe laceration from jumping a wrought iron fence. Here you can see, all she needs to do now is grow some fur. That shouldn't be a problem, as we all know! The vet hospital offered to take care of Jackie's surgeries if we would take her under our wing afterward. Well, of course we have. Jackie is very sweet, quiet and confused at the moment. She lost her home, she was badly hurt, and now she's learning that she'll be well taken care of. All her tumors have been removed and while they were found to be a low-grade malignancy, our vet is confident that they removed all of the tumor completely. This disease is extremely slow growing and not invasive - dogs who have had these kinds of tumors removed typically live a long full life. So we call Jackie our survivor!
