Jasmine
Jasmine is an indoor dog who is house trained (in fact, she'll go to the bathroom outside on the command word of "busy"). For every night of her life, she has slept in the bed or underneath her human's bed. She definitely doesn't like sleeping on cold floors so make sure you have plenty of blankets for her because that's what she's been accustomed to. She is very smart and listens well. She'll sit, give her paw, and lie down upon command.
At nine years of age, she still has energy and likes to run around. Chasing tennis balls is an especially fun way to spend some time. But as all middle age people do from time to time, she loves her time to rest and be petted. If you pet and scratch her ears, face, and back, she'll be a very happy and contented girl. Jasmine is also very sensitive to her humans. If you are crying or hurt, she will stay beside you and lick your face until she decides that you are better.
Jasmine would also like you to know that she does not like cats and likes to chase bunnies. She'd also prefer not to have lots of kids coming around the house because she is very protective of her own family and all those strange kids can be difficult to understand. Likewise, if she thinks someone is getting too rough with one of her family members, she will let them know that she doesn't what that to happen again! Sometimes when she is around other dogs, she will whine and may try to take off after them. Jasmine (who likes her nickname of "Jazzy") is a very sweet nine year old black and tan female who has lived with the same family since she was three months old. Unfortunately, they are unable to keep her or her son, Hulk, with whom she loves spending time. Jasmine has been a loyal member of the family and has loved playing with two children who are fourteen and ten years of age. Her human wrote, "To me, [Jasmine is] the best dog I have ever had and I am crushed that I have to lose her." If you are interested, read on!

Jasmine is currently in a boarding facility. She would love to have a warm bed and someone to love her, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this beauty?
