Kabota

Getting kisses from "Brooklyn"!

Kabota was purchased as a puppy. Unfortunately, due to life’s challenges his family could not keep him anymore. His sister was given away about 2 months ago to a different family. His family thought that having one dog would make it easier for them to keep him, but as luck would have it, it didn’t turn out that way. Kabota’s family is heartbroken that both dogs they raised from puppyhood are now gone from their life.

On to Kabota, I have to say that he is one very well behaved dog. Kabota was raised with their 6 year old son whom he loves to play with. His most favorite toy is that basketball (now deflated)he loves to carry that ball around the house. Kabota is phenomenal with other dogs (even the ones that are a royal pain in the neck). At our adoption event, there was one dog that kept antagonizing him, pawing him constantly and trying to butt him with his behind to play play play (btw, the antagonizer is not a small dog!), he (Kabota)was very tolerant and patient with this boy (who is in tact still and flowing with testosterone), all Kabota would do when he’s had enough of this play action is walk away.

We were told that one of the things Kabota loves to do is hangout with his family on the sofa watching TV at night. Kabota is housebroken and extremely well mannered! Kabota would do well with another dog in the house to keep him company.

The adoption donation for Kabota is $500.

If you are interested in meeting Kabota, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.
Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
