Keira
Well, there's more. Keira is great with children, other dogs, and even with cats. And she is housebroken which is always great when you add a puppy to your family. Because she is so smart, we know that she'll quickly learn her house manners. We guess no one ever told her that furniture, including tables, are off limits - so a little manners please! As with all puppies, she will benefit from some basic obedience training. Finally, Keira is a great athlete and would probably love to compete in those mentally and physically challenging dog games such as agility or fly ball.
If you are familiar with German Shepherds, you know that their loyalty and the depth of their bond with humans are legendary. Also legendary are their protective instincts and Keira is no exception. She is very protective and she needs someone who understands this aspect of a German Shepherd's personality.
Keira is waiting for you to invite her into your home and your life.
Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way! If you are interested in meeting me, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.
The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Donate today using PayPal! Help us save dogs!
