Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Kerberos is a gorgeous boy who seems to be very affectionate to whoever will spend time with him. He seems to know his basic commands and is very willing to show them, especially if you reward him with a belly rub. He seems to get along well with other dogs, young and old, male and female, but this assessment was from very limited interactions - we will update this as we get to know him better.

Like most Shepherds, Kerberos is looking for a home where he will be part of the family - he wants to be able to spend time with his new family. At 2 years old, he is still young and full of energy, so he is definitely looking for a family who will give him plenty of exercise and take him on plenty of outings to dog parks to play with others. He would be OK as an only dog, but also seems to get along with others, so being a member of an accepting pack would also be OK. We have not had a chance to give him the cat test yet, so that is still up for debate. We will post more details as we get to know this gorgeous boy a little better.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
