Kitty
Kitty also doubles as an extra blanket, keeping her foster mom warm!
She is very playful and races around the back yard like white lightening. In the house she is well mannered and completely housebroken. She seeks human attention and likes affection. She lies around in the house, sometimes completely stretched out on her back like a puppy. She likes squeaky rubber toys and chew bones, and will chase a ball. She has been to the dog park and played nicely on the “big dog side”.
She does have a strong prey drive, and would not be suitable for a home with cats, chickens, small dogs or other small pets. When she was new in the rescue, she was very protective of her food bowl and showed some aggression towards the other dogs during mealtime (never towards people), but in the past month she has learned that she is now safe and cared for and will have plenty of food, and she has calmed down considerably during feeding. She has also traded her lanky, thin build from her days in the shelter for a more muscular, athletic build. She has been spayed and is now healthy and ready for her new life.
