Kodi

Kodi is only 6 months old and is already 66 pounds. He's going to be a big guy who will need a lot of room to run. He gets along with cats, kids and other dogs. When meeting new people he seems to be really shy but when you ignore him he comes out of his shell. He is house trained and knows basic commands. He does well on a leash but could use some training. He likes to go for walks and car rides but he can tend to get an upset tummy when going on extended car rides. It's hard to look at him and think he's a puppy because he's so big.

Kodi's ideal home is one with adults or older children. He would also do best in a home with another large breed dog to show him the ropes and keep him company. He will also need a secure yard with a tall fence as sometimes huskies like to go exploring! Obedience training, interaction and daily walks are also a must! If you are looking for a dog to match your active lifestyle Kodi is the boy for you!

Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way!

We are asking a $400.00 donation for Kodi's adoption.

If you are interested in meeting Kodi, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
