Kya

Kya is a fluffy eighteen month old black and tan female who was found as a stray in Riverside. We all know that nourishment is essential, especially for the growing body, and dogs are no exception. We expect that Kya was not provided with the nourishment she needed while she was growing up. For example, both of her top k9's have lost their first layer of enamel. However, she has a lovely doggie smile on one of the sweetest faces you'll ever see! Because of her lack of proper diet, she really needs to gain another ten pounds. After all, she isn't a greyhound. While their lean physique looks great on them, Kya would rather her ribs not stick out quite so much! Right now, she is just a bit finicky when it comes to food but she does love the smelly yummy stuff like cottage cheese or any other kind of cheese. They provide lots of nourishment and you don't have to be a mouse to like cheese!

Kya gets along very well with dogs, male or female, and she is a very easy dog to walk and to care for. She's not a big fan of a crate but she absolutely loves any bed or your lap. In fact, she's a super sweet girl who would love to just lay with you anywhere. With her sweet face and her equally sweet personality, Kya is ready and willing to dish out some lovin' anytime you are ready!

Kya is currently in a boarding facility. She would love to have a warm bed and someone to love her, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this beauty?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
