Kylan

One song made famous years ago by Paul Anka had these lyrics. " Put your head on my shoulder, Hold me in your arms, baby. Squeeze me oh so tight, Show me that you love me too." Keeni and Kylan have never had the wonderful experience of putting their heads on someone's shoulder or being lovingly held in someone's arms. Since they were puppies, they have lived their lives in a dirt yard with just a makeshift shelter to protect them from the weather. They dug a hole in the ground to help them be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. And instead of having a human's shoulder on which to rest their heads when they slept, their only pillow was a wood plank on the ground.

Keeni and Kylan recently made the journey from Los Angeles to Rescue with a stop in Temecula. Soon they will know that there is a wonderful life to be lived other than on the ground in a dirt yard. They are very sweet and are waiting for you to show them some love. And maybe even let them rest their heads on your shoulder!

We'll keep you posted as we get to know them better.

She is currently in a boarding facility. She would love to have a warm bed and someone to love her, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this beauty?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
