Lady

Lady is about 4 years old. She is a wonderful dog and is playful like a puppy. She loves to be chased and will taunt her foster siblings with toys in order to get them to do so. She would be great with a companion big or small. She does well with cats and is house broken. She would be great in a condo or in a situation where her owners worked from home. She does not like to be left alone outside and has been known to shimmy over a 6ft fence. She is very smart and learns quickly. She is crate trained and will “go to bed” on command. She could benefit from some on-leash training, and obedience but all in all Lady is a "lady"!!!

Update 1/12/09:
Lady has settled right in to her foster home. She loves to play with the toys and can be found taking items out of the basket one by one until she finds the perfect toy. She loves the stuffed toys, but is very good about keeping the stuffing inside the toy, unlike her foster siblings. When she isn't playing with the toys, you can usually find her parked on the couch or dog bed snoozing.

Recently, Lady was visited by a 6 month old shepherd for a play date. The two of them had a ball together. They ran and played, which is just what Lady needs to keep her New Year's resolution of recovering her girlish figure.

Lady loves to get into the car and go for a ride and well, any destination is fine as long as she can go too!
