Lobo

Lobo before he was pampered by Coastal Volunteers!

This stunningly handsome boy is a big old baby. Belly rubs are his absolutely favorite past-time. Although he does well with his foster siblings, Lobo has an extremely high prey drive and cannot live with small dogs or cats. He loves the ladies as they think he is the Brad Pitt of the dog world! Lobo was originally adopted by a wonderful woman a year ago but unfortunately her living situation changed and he had to move out. He is a long time favorite of his foster mom's as he is well behaved, house broken, obedience trained, crate trained and loved his long walks on the beach. Lobo came to us completely matted, skinny and very prickly as he was embedded with fox tails from head to tail tip. That no longer being an issue, he loves to be brushed, and brushed, and brushed! His longer than short coat is beautiful and gives him extra squeezability (one big cuddle bug who melts into you.) Do you have room in your heart for this sweet guy? At just about five years old, he has years of love to give. Although he has some arthritis in his spine, he stays comfortable with medication and regular exercise.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
