Maggie

Maggie had a rough three or four months, spending time tied to a chain in the backyard when her owner's situation worsened. Before being forced outside, Maggie was always indoors, around a family with a child (she loves children) and even completed obedience training. She knows all of her basic commands, picks up on new training in a flash and is house trained. She's a great jogging companion and I can't think of anything Maggie loves more than spending time in the water. Despite the situation Maggie once endured, she is a very loving dog with an extremely sharp mind. Maggie isn't quite sure what to make of other animals, but gets along with other dogs if properly introduced. She will be a loyal and faithful family member; Miss Maggie will do best in a home with people who have shepherd experience - she is a very smart girl!

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
