Matt

This is Matt, or Tank, as he is called by his foster family. He is a very large and stately gentleman. Tank is a lover, not a fighter. He wants nothing more than to lay his head in your lap and have you rub his ears and scratch the top of his head. Although Tank is a senior dog, he is very playful, running after any toy that is thrown down the hallway. Unfortunately, his foster sister is usually the first one to the toy, so Tank has to wait patiently while she tires of it. Then, he's all over it.

Tank is the perfect combination of a german shepherd. He's old enough to have manners, but still young enough that he still wants to play. He is very protective of his family, but is great with people once they are allowed into the home.

If you are looking for your next best friend, please consider Tank.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
