Maya![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() She is very well behaved in the house and prefers to spend the majority of her time indoors. She can stay in the house alone for many hours and is respectful of everything - she would do best in a home where she gets to spend a lot of time inside hanging or cuddling with her owners. She loves to lay in the sun and play chase around the house or in the backyard. Maya loves to go for runs, walks, to the beach (she loves water - probably the Lab in her (her mother was a chocolate lab), hiking, camping and she travels well in the car. She will be 5 years old in November.
Update 9/17/06 from Maya's foster Mom
Maya transition to her foster home was very easy, for her and for her new foster Mommy and Daddy. Because of her previous training it was easy to “speak” to her in commands and watch her follow them without a problem as though she’s lived with us for years on end. She is a delight to have at home.
We couldn’t believe that she is turning 5, Maya is extremely agile and goes for 2-4 mile walks a day in the country which she craves. Her teeth are superb, she has a wonderful attitude, she is such an easy girl to have and very loving. I think if there is anything that stands out about this girl is that she is well mannered and gets along with all types of dogs.
