Mystery

Mystery is a six month old black female. She loves people and other dogs. Mystery was turned in to the shelter by her family when they had to move. Her family answered questions on the surrender questionnaire to give an insight into her background. Housebroken - no. Allowed in the house - no. Rides well in cars - doesn't know. Walks on a leash - doesn't know. Gets along with other dogs - doesn't know.

Well, we found out she does just fine riding in a car. While she may not know how to heal, she does walk well on the leash. She loves other dogs. And when she gets a home that allows her in the house, well, then she can be potty trained and seems smart enough to learn quickly.

She is currently in a boarding facility. She would love to have a warm bed and someone to love her, whether it be in a temporary foster home or in a new forever home. Could you open your heart and home to this sweet little girl?

Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way!

If you are interested in meeting Mystery, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
