Patton

Patton came to us from a high kill shelter where he was overlooked time and again because of his severely emaciated condition. A kind volunteer appealed to us to help him - we have just been able to place him in a foster home where he can receive good food, sleep on a warm bed and get lots of attention.

Patton is so thin that the vertebrae in his spine can be counted all the way to the end of his tail. He has lost all his pockets of fat - even those above his eyesockets. He has lost a substantial amount of hair and his face is scarred. Where was this beautiful dog that he was such a victim of neglect?

Even in his weakened state, Patton is a sweet soulful fellow who seeks the company of people. He is gentle with other dogs as well.

As we get to know more about Patton, we will update his bio. In addition, look for new photos of this boy as he blooms in his foster home.
