Pippin
Pippin is a four month old fireball. We left her in the back of Jennifer’s truck for just a couple of minutes with a bone when we picked her up at the shelter. In that brief period of time she had completely rearranged all of Jennifer’s stuff.
We couldn’t get upset with her because after all she is just an innocent, little puppy. What can you do when she puts her little red head down on her paws and looks up at you with those sweet, brown eyes? Completely forget about whatever mischief that Pippin got herself into and scoop her up in your arms to let her know that she is forgiven now and forever, right? That is just what we took turns doing all afternoon.
Pippin was introduced to Lady Stella to provide a proper model for good GSD behavior. When Pippin walked beside Stella on the leash, she must have realized that she was one of the big dogs now because she just beamed with pride.
Pippin has quite a lot to be proud of too. She walks very well on her leash without any barking and has been playing very nicely on the playground with the other puppies. Furthermore, Pippin has really started to catch on to potty training. In less than a week, she has learned to come to her foster mom and give mom the sign that it is time to go outside. She has also been bragging to all of the other foster moms about Pippin’s ability to hold her wee all night long.
Once you meet Pippin, you will be smitten by our sweet little red-head with the dynamite smarts and fiery personality.
Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way! We are asking a $500.00 donation for Pippin's adoption.
If you are interested in meeting me, please contact Teresa via email at baltao@sbcglobal.net. Don't forget to fill out our online application.
The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Donate today using PayPal! Help us save dogs!
