This sweet gal did nothing wrong, but was about to lose her life due to the impending 4th of July Weekend! We celebrate our independence on this holiday; however, for many dogs, it is a death sentence. The shelters are anticipating the overwhelming intake of dogs this weekend and those who are already there are losing their place. The incoming dogs are those who are left outside and are spooked by the fireworks, and bolt as their first line of defense.

Pixie seems to be well mannered, smart, and eager to please and fortunately for her, she too, will be celebrating her freedom this Independence day.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $400 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
