Aggie

It's been three weeks since I picked up this German Shepherd stray walking along side the train tracks. She's a mellow spayed female who:
  • loves to stay inside & follow you around
  • follows commands (off limits in certain areas of the house)
  • did not show aggression with small & medium size dogs
  • completely ignored a few excited tiny chihuahuas
  • loves to sniff around during walks
  • not bothered at all by barking dogs barking during walks
  • house broken (she's let out in the morning & sometimes at dusk if she tells us she wants to)
  • never had a single bathroom incident inside the house
  • no food aggression

Aggie loves to stay inside the house with you. She had a skunk encounter on her third night with me and has now been somewhat leery of staying outside at night. I think she would perfect for any one out there who wants a sweet companion & loves to take lazy walks. Retirees, in my opinion, would be a perfect match. Please help me cast her out there and spread her story for adoption. You mentioned that you are organizing one for the area of Colorado . Can you please include her and/or ask one of your volunteers if they can foster this gentle lady?

My good intention of wanting to walk her to get exercised blew up in my face. The landlord saw us on the evening of Sunday after I spoke to you. She wants the dog out and has threatened to take the next step because I am in violation of my lease which dictates no pets allowed.

She just recently recovered from having tumors removed from her mammary glands. She does not have cancer. With kind donations & a generous veterinary discount, we were able to save her from apparent overbreeding. I just need one more guardian angel to complete the full circle for this tossed old gal. Thanks!
